Stage 2 ​Pressure Injury

Presenting as a shallow wound, there ​is some skin loss leaving the dermis ​exposed. The bottom of the wound, ​or wound bed, is visible, pink or red, ​and can appear lightly moist in ​appearance. A stage 2 pressure ​injury may also present as an intact ​or ruptured serous-filled blister.
