Stage 2 Pressure Injury
Presenting as a shallow wound, there is some skin loss leaving the dermis exposed. The bottom of the wound, or wound bed, is visible, pink or red, and can appear lightly moist in appearance. A stage 2 pressure injury may also present as an intact or ruptured serous-filled blister.
